The survey indicators covered marital status, education, labour force participation, fertility and maternal and general mortality and thus provide a basis for useful comparisons. And those comparisons, along with the general analysis of the SDES findings, which are collected in SDES from Kabul, Bamyan, Ghor, Daikundi, Kapisa and Parwan Provinces, reflect new and valuable insights on the progress and gaps towards gender equality in Afghanistan.
