The report on State of Afghanistan's Midwifery 2021 was developed under the leadership of Afghanistan the Afghanistan Midwives Association (AMA) through a participatory and collaborative process that involved national and international stakeholders as well as the Ministry of Public Health. The report highlights the overall status of midwifery in Afghanistan, it will be used as a reference for the stakeholders for planning and addressing the challenges in the midwifery profession in Afghanistan and to improve midwifery and maternal health issues in the country.
